I knew I was called to teach, and I knew that calling demanded I rightly divide the word of truth (2 Timothy 2:15). I felt the weight of the platform, in the best way, and it's what sent me to Dallas Theological Seminary (c/o '23), not to sound impressive, but because I refused to choose between depth and clarity.

Brad and I opened Sinclair's Mercantile on our hometown square — part retail shop, part concert venue, part Bible study gathering place. Two worlds that seemed unrelated became the very places where God strengthened my voice and sharpened my calling.

Before stepping into full-time speaking, I worked as a creative consultant for Fortune 500 companies and styled Grammy Award-winning artists for award shows, music videos, and album covers.
